A Rochester teen has been charged with harassment after a video emerged showing him smack an elderly woman as she left a local convenience store.

The teen, whose Facebook name reads True Goon Tocool Sneekey, is actually 16-year-old Devin Alexander who happens to be on probation. 

The 53 second video clip shows the teen standing outside of a local store goofing off until an elderly woman exits a store. He then walks up behind her and smacks her with a snowball inside of his hand, as him and the camera man yell, “smack cam, smack cam.”

The video has caused much controversy after a self-proclaimed blogger, writer and activist named Davy Vara publicized the incident of the teen who managed to smack an old woman as part of a disgraceful prank. Vara broke the story at, bringing international attention to the hypocrisy of the harassment charges.

Alexander tells cameras, “I’m bout to smack the old lady with the snowball when she come out the store.”

The smack cam is a spinoff of the Knockout game which made international headlines after several videos turned up showing teens assaulting elderly people around the devin alexandercountry.

Critics of the Rochester Police Department feel that they are being too lenient and the teen should be charged with assault or a hate crime.
