Florida homeowner discovers 8 foot alligator swimming in pool

A Florida homeowner discovered an unusual surprise in his pool Thursday morning.  Around 7:30 am, the homeowner went out to their pool and found an 8 foot alligator swimming in their pool. The home, which is located in the Florida Keys near mile marker 77 in Lower Matecumbe Key. The Monroe County Sheriff’s office called in some reinforcements from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and the gator was safely removed and returned to the ocean. Two Nevada men have become quite famous recently, after a 9-1-1 call of them calling police has made the rounds. According to EastIdahoNews.com, who retrieved the call from the Rexburg Police Department, the two men called police out of fear that police were surrounding them. Raccoon Foiled by Can of Chef Boyardee, Police Rescue Ensues

The Bradenton Sheriff’s Office posted some interesting photos on their Facebook page this week, showing a raccoon caught in a most unusual way. The photos show the raccoon walking around aimlessly with an empty can of Chef Boyardee stuck on its head. A fearless deputy arrived on scene at around 2 am and removed the can after a couple of failed attempts.
